A brand-new youth travel team, BareTruth Lacrosse, run by former Yorktown standout Gary Raniolo, will be holding tryouts on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 3-5 at the Sports Barn. There will also be another tryouts Nov. 14, also from 3-5. After that, the tryouts will be invite only.

The Hudson Valley Spartans is a new central Westchester-based program with teams from seventh grade and up with fall programs. There will also be a girls program.
The boys team will be competing in three fall tournaments and will also have summer teams.
The director is Chris Kear and teams are made up mainly of Pleasantville players but open to anyone. There are now players from Ardsley, Harrison, Pleasantville and Bronxville.

Is anyone familiar with the Diamond Lacrosse Tournament in Maryland Nov 21-22? It claims to showcase the top 120 players in the country, but I find very little information about it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
