No Limit should roll in A. Put Valley will beat Fox Lane to win varsity if Fitzgerald plays.
Go Ossining! Crown Lax
Anytime Fitzgerald plays any team with equal talent he chokes. BIG FISH SMALL POND!!!!!!
please don’t talk if you don’t know what your are talking about

You have got to be kidding –Why are you hating on the kid Like any one else he has some games better then others, but his avg game is better then most kids on the field. If you go on max preps and look at the stats …that says some of what he does ..only some …every game he creates turnovers and headache for opposing teams. Like any good player he can not do it on his own … you need a supporting cast …Last year there was enough talent to go around in P.V and they meshed . Next year there will be more then just Fitzgerald with talent .
I guess the D-1 schools calling him are kidding themselves too. The kid is a PLAYER. By the way he held his own down in Delaware with
Westrock with some of the best in the Country. No i’am not a relatives but do know him from Section 1 . Enough said
Lets try to give props without going overboard and ease up on the put downs
The comment responded to is that Putnam Valley will win if they have one player. NO ONE PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THE TEAM. Putnam Valley was successful this year, because at any given time anyone of many individuals could score and others stepped up at different times. Not because of one player (TOGETHER) Dee-up, I was in Delaware were did you get your info? Many others stood out There are 10 players on the Field not one. Lets see what happens next year when his surrounding players are gone.
Good luck tonight Fox Lane. A win over PV would make a huge statement for next year.
People college is about education 1st, if you can compete in something you love while your there that just makes it sweeter. D-1, D-2, D-3 stop some D-3 programs could easily beat many D-1. What happens when the athlete gets hurt or can’t compete he or she needs to be able to survive. Academics should be the 1st consideration

Hey gang. Just arrived at Purchase College for tonight’s Sound Shore title games. Be sure to check back for updates, starting with the 6 p.m.varsity championship between Put Valley and Fox Lane. Should be a good one.
Put Valley beat Fox Lane 5-2 to win the HS title. Ryan Fitzgerald had one and one. Four other players scored for PV.
Publik House just beat Cake Eaters (Sports Barn) 9-2 to win the Division 1A title and win the first of two Chuck Cohen Cups. (The trophy for the A Division game is named this year in honor of the memory of Tom Lener.)
No Limit leads 5-1 at halftime.
In this game, the winner will receive the Tom Lener Memorial Trophy.
No Limit holds on to edge the Mid-Ocean Roadrunners 10-9 to win the Division A championship and the Tom Lener Memorial Trophy.
It’s the Soaring Eagles’ fifth title in the last six years.
Check back for more on tonight’s championship game, including video interviews.
In the final championship game of the day, Crown Lax beat the Huskies 8-3.
I just updated the main body of this post with all of tonight’s scores.
R-U I am not trying to be argumentive but when you look at the statement YOU made “Anytime Fitzgerald plays any team with equal talent he chokes. BIG FISH SMALL POND!!!!!! ” how else can that be taken. I will bet most will take that as a very negative statement. While I strongly agree with you in that no one player is bigger then the team and without team work you will not reach the main objective . There will be times when some players will carry a bigger load. Fitz is one of those that will welcome the extra responsiblity and for the most part handle it well. There are other ways to drive home the point about TEAM then put down a student athelete.
As far as Westrock at Delaware , yes there are 10 players on the field and Lew does a GREAT job with the team. Yet some players still shine brighter then others , thats why its a showcase. You are entitled to your opinion. But be ready when he comes to your school next season, something tells me Fitz will be. Don’t hate on the player ..hate the game.. Good luck to you and your son next season . I wish you guys well ..Lax it’s a great game.
P.S. If you watch ch. 12 news you might see Fitz do the interview for Putnam Valley as they won the soundshore league .
dee-up Seems to me that Laxrat put down an entire team of student athletes with his comment. I read 4 different players scored. Time will tell college (lax) is more than being able to compete its a big undertaking without the pressure of playing Thus Student Athlete
