Action in the Sound Shore Adult Men’s League starts tonight with five games. This is the league’s 30th season. Teams that compete are from Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Fairfield counties.

Dan Kaiser, the president of the Hudson Valley Chapter of US Lacrosse, furnished me with the names of the Section 1 players named academic all-Americans and scholar-athletes.
University of Virginia-bound attackman Matt White of Ridgefield has been named Connecticut player of the year and five-time Class M state champ Darien has been honored as the state’s team of the year. FCIAC finalists Ridgefield and Darien each had three players selected as USILA all-Americans.
