We told you here late last summer that one of the most successful coaches in Hudson Valley high school lacrosse history, Ted Georgalas, would be joining Joe Alberici’s staff at Army as an assistant. Today, Army officially announced Georgalas’ addition in a press release. You can check it out here.
College lacrosse teams are starting to finalize their 2010 schedules. As they are released, we will be posting them on this thread. So be sure to check back for newly added teams each day on the second page of this thread.

College fall-ball action winds to a close this weekend with a variety of events scheduled. As we told you late last month, the inaugural Connecticut Cup is set for Sunday (Oct. 18) at Yale.
This weekend marks the heart of the college fall-ball practice season with scrimmages and tournaments galore from sea to shining sea.
As far as fall ball goes, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better venue than West Point, where the fall foliage and the scenic images of the Hudson provided a perfect backdrop for a busy day of action today involving Stony Brook, Marist and the host Black Knights.
Ridgefield’s Matt White, Somers’ JoJo Marasco and Manhasset’s Connor English were ranked among the Top 10 incoming college freshmen in the nation by Inside Lacrosse in its annual recruiting issue. Princeton’s search for a replace for the legendary Bill Tierney has ended. The Tigers, one of the nation’s strongest and most tradition-rich programs, have named former John Jay star Chris Bates as their new head coach.
