LI Lax are both WI and WM at full strength? If so think this game will be closer than the last one but with the same winner.
Both of them are at full strength. My picks are:

Greenwich wins 11-6
Headline: Somers still alive in playoffs.
Somers advances with a 10-3 win over Old Saybrook. No elephants here, this Somers is in Connecticut and is better known for housing the Nutmeg State’s Death Row. They advance to a Class S quarterfinal matchup with St. Joseph’s of Trumbull on Saturday. All other higher seeds in Class S advanced.
In Class M, #11 Daniel Hand upset #6 East Lyme, last year’s semifinalist, 14-13. Hand gets a quarterfinal visit to New Canaan on Saturday. #9 Avon defeated #8 Brookfield 9-8 in OT. All other higher seeds advanced. Last year’s finalists, Darien and Wilton, meet in a quarterfinal at Darien at 3pm on Saturday.
In Large school action, Greenwich continues its white-hot end of season by beating Ridgefield 11-6 at Tiger Hollow. The #12 Cardinals get #4 Fairfield Prep @ Prep on Saturday at 3pm. #9 Simsbury bested #8 Trumbull handily, 10-5 for the other win by a lower seed. Simsbury gets #1 Staples on Saturday, back on the winning track via a 12-0 win over qualifier Newington.
Congrats WI! Bring home another state title!
WI has been unstoppable since dropping the opener to Sach North.
