Twice is nice if you’re a college lacrosse fan on Saturday as ESPNU and SportsNet New York (SNY) will each be telecasting college lacrosse doubleheaders.
ESPNU will be providing live coverage of a pair of men’s games.
Action starts at 4 p.m. as No. 15 Ohio State visits No. 3 Notre Dame.
Then, at 6 p.m., No. 20 Johns Hopkins, needing a big win badly, hosts No. 8 Virginia.
SNY’s doubleheader begins as Fairfield women’s team opens Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play against Manhattan at 2 p.m.
That will be followed by the 5:30 p.m. game between Fairfield men’s team and Villanova on Fairfield’s brand-new Rafferty Stadium.
Nick Licalzi will be calling play-by-play for both games. Crista Samaras provides analysis for the women’s contest, and Rich Donovan handles color commentary for the men’s game.
