It has been a tragic last week in the lacrosse world.
On Tuesday, the third former high school or current college lacrosse player died when John Bosco of Huntington (NY) was killed in a tragic accident in Florida.
The 20-year-old, who on vacation at Disney World with his family, was struck by one car then pushed in front of another on Highway 191 shortly after midnight, according to the Orlando Sentinel. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.
Bosco was a 5-foot-8, 155-pound midfielder for Huntington HS, where he graduated in 2013. He was a student at SUNY Oneonta.
Visiting hours will be both Saturday, Jan. 10 and Sunday, Jan. 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave. in Huntington Station.
A funeral Mass will be held at Church of Saint Patrick at 400 Main St. in Huntington on Monday.
