It will be football weather on Sunday, Nov. 24, but there will be plenty of lacrosse on Long Island.
That’s because 40 high school teams that have combined to win 40 state titles will be converging for the Shoreham-Wading River Fall Classic at Farmingdale State College. Action begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.
The forecast calls for sunny skies, but temperatures reaching a high of only 33 with blustery winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour, producing a wind-chill factor in the upper teens.
