Sacred Heart University continues to rack in tristate verbal commitments under new coach Jon Basti.
The latest comes from a high school program that continually racks up verbal commitments of its own.
We’re talking about St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, N.Y., where 2015 attackman/midfielder Connor O’Reilly has decided on Sacred Heart, as first reported by Joe Lombardi on Oct. 19 on LaxLessons.com’s Lacrosse Insider premium coverage section.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound O’Reilly is a righty who is equally effective as a shooter and dodger.
Now, here’s a Q&A with Connor on his commitment.
What were the main factors in your decision?
I loved Sacred Heart right when I stepped on the campus. It’s a great fit for me academically and lacrosse wise.
What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
