Long Island crowned its boys champions yesterday as Ward Melville (Class A), Garden City (Class B) and Shoreham-Wading River (Class C) have all moved on to Wednesday’s downstate New York semifinals at Marist College.
Today, it’s the girls’ turn, in a tripleheader at Adelphi University in Garden City.
Here’s the lineup: Bay Shore (Suffolk) vs. Farmingdale (Nassau) in the Class A final, 1 p.m.; 3:30 p.m.; Eastport-South Manor (Suffolk) vs. Manhasset (Nassau) in the Class B final at 3:30 p.m.; and Mount Sinai (Suffolk) vs. North Shore (Nassau) in the Class C final, 6 p.m. You can watch all three games live on MSGVarsity.com.
Also today, the best boys and girls varsity players from New York City meet in the Mayor’s Cup doubleheader at Poly Prep in Brooklyn starting at 4 p.m. For more info, including rosters, check here.
