It was played centuries before any explorers arrived in North America.
It’s now being played in 45 countries.
Today, the number of players has tripled over the course of the last decade.
Those are some of the storylines surrounding the hour-long video “America’s First Sport,” by the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University.
