High school teams that have combined for 90 state titles will be competing in one venue on Sunday, Nov. 18.
They will be vying at Tom Rotanz’s Shoreham-Wading River Fall Classic, which is annually regarded as the premier event on the fall schedule in the tristate region. This year’s event will be played at Farmingdale State College.

Sounds like a great day of lax. Kudos to Coach Rotanz for putting it all together.
Sounds like a great field once again. Joe I believe Duxbury has won. Few state titles
The article just highlighted a few of the bigger name state champs. Overall, there are about a dozen or more that will be playing Sunday that have won state titles in their histories.
Quite a power packed field of teams.
Taking the ride out east for this on Sunday. Looking forward to a great day of fall lacrosse.
Would be interested to hear any reports from folks who attended this today.
St A’s was on point. Crisp play despite not having some FB players. Unselfish. Good showing against strong comp – Syosset, Yorktown, Darien.
Hmmm Ytown beat Darien St.Ant and Northport
A great day of Lacrosse, due to the big storm lots of football playoffs and showcases, allstar games were postponed until this weekend resulting in many of the teams being at less than full strength. The Chaminade team looked especially depleted. JJ lost to SWR beat Duxbury and Chaminade. Lots of college coaches and especially thankful for the parking situation much better than at SWR. Smithtown East looked good.
Anyone know how The Hill Academy teams did?
I know one of the Hill Academy teams dominated a very underclassmen Chaminade team.
With football taking players away more so than in the past, the quality of play was not as good as it’s been.
