When the lone night game of Saturday’s slate of NY/NJ/CT title games is played at Kean University in New Jersey, we will have four newly crowned state champs in New York, three in Connecticut and a NJ Tournament of Champions winner.
One note of historical significance, Cold Spring Harbor is aiming to become the first Long Island team to ever win three consecutive state title.
Now, here’s Saturday’s schedule of title games with sites and times for each of the three states.
NY state finals
at St. John Fisher College, Rochester
Class A: Ward Melville vs. Pittsford, 10 a.m.
Class B: Yorktown vs. Victor, 12:30 p.m.
Class C: Cold Spring Harbor vs. Jamesville-DeWitt, 3 p.m.
Class D: Westlake vs. CBA-Syracuse, 5:30 p.m.
CT state championships
at Brien McMahon, Norwalk
Class M: New Canaan vs. Daniel Hand, 1 p.m.
Class S: Somers vs. Waterford, 10:30 a.m.
Class L: Darien vs. Cheshire, 3:30 p.m.
NJ Tournament of Champions final
at Kean University, 7:30 p.m.
Moorestown vs. Delbarton
