Today we start what will be the final full week of the regular season for many teams in the tristate.

This year’s regular season seems to have floated by faster than others because of the weather. Update: We’ll see more overnight temps in the 30s in the next few days in the tristate hotspot. (Given that, perhaps “hotspot” may not be an appropriate word in this case.)

But things will warm up — weather notwithstanding — as teams jockey for playoff positioning starting the day after NCAA Selection Sunday.
