When lighting struck Saturday, the fall ball MCLA Division 1 scrimmage between the University of Dayton and Western Michigan University was tied.

Just like there’s no crying in baseball, there are sure no ties in lacrosse.

So Dayton and Western Michigan players quickly came up with a way to settle the deadlock. Dayton players, in red and white, are at left.

Rock, paper, scissors.

A video of the exchange has now officially gone viral and was even shown Tuesday morning on NBC-TV’s “Today” show.
