Easter Sunday will also include a big college lacrosse clash.

Johns Hopkins University will look to win its second straight game minus head coach Dave Pietramala when the seventh-ranked Blue Jays visit Virginia in a 1 p.m. contest that will be telecast on ESPNU.

Pietramala is suffering from a lower back infection which also forced him to miss JHU’s dramatic 11-10 overtime win against fifth-ranked Syracuse last week. Minus Pietramala, Hopkins associate head coach Bill Dwan has been handling head-coaching duties. Dwan (pictured at left) was an All-American defender at both Hopkins and Yorktown High School (NY). He’s been an assistant at Hopkins for 16 years, and associate HC the last 10.

There is no specific timetable for Pietramala’s return.

Hopkins said Pietramala underwent “a surgical procedure” last week “that should accelerate his return.”
