The launch of a men’s lacrosse program at historically black Hampton University continues to draw national attention.
ESPN was on location at Hampton’s Armstrong Stadium for its “SportsCenter on the Road” starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday prior to Hampton’s s 12:30 p.m. season-opener against Division II visitor Roberts Wesleyan College.
Hampton becomes the 70th D-I men’s program, and the first at a historically black college.
