From press release

US Lacrosse and head coach Nick Myers of Ohio State have announced the 30-man training roster for the 2016 U.S. Men’s National Under-19 Team following a three-day training camp that wrapped up with Sunday’s Blue-White exhibition at Johns Hopkins University.

The 30 players were selected from a pool of 51 athletes who attended training camp Aug. 7-9 at Hopkins. The training pool was narrowed to 51 following a 105-player tryout June 29-July 1 at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md.

Team USA’s next training camp will be Nov. 13-15 at Ohio State University. That’s when the final roster  of 23 players will be named to the final roster for the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 World Championship, July 7-16, 2016, in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

“The coaching staff is extremely pleased with what we were able to accomplish in our second training camp with the men,” Myers said. “We are grateful for all that US Lacrosse did to make this an incredible experience for the all those involved and for the fans that came out Sunday to see a great game. The toughest part of this process so far has been making very challenging decisions with respect to our roster of players after each camp.

“Each one of these men is worthy, and what drove our process was selecting the right pieces for us to be successful next July. We want to congratulate the men who will be moving on and thank those of you that made it as far as this past weekend. The effort and buy-in we have received from the men in our first two camps was special. We are excited to get back together in November and for our first exhibition with The Hill Academy (Canada).”

The player selection committee was composed of the U.S. U19 coaching staff, the US Lacrosse Men’s National Team Subcommittee Chair and four top-level high school coaches who participated as field coaches throughout the weekend.

The roster includes players from 10 states that have signed with or committed to 12 different universities.

The 30-player training roster, by position with high school, high school graduation year and college commitment noted:
