Most boys lacrosse county championships have been decided in New Jersey.
Section 8 teams on Long Island started their county playoffs on Monday, with Section 11 (Suffolk) about to start.
Hudson Valley teams begin postseason action on Thursday.
Connecticut teams will then be the final state in the NY/NJ/CT hotspot to get the postseason rolling.
