It’s be a raw week weather-wise, but the action has been red-hot, with lots of upsets and exciting finishes.
In our most recent day of action, Thursday, there were plenty of noteworthy results, including:
* Manhasset (NY) rallied to deal Smithtown West (NY) its first loss, 10-9. Matt Gavin had two goals and three assists, Thomas Duran three goals and Jack Keogh had two goals and two assists.
* In upstate NY, Jamesville-DeWitt edged Cazenovia 7-6 and Pittsford beat Webster Thomas 16-9.
* Miller Place pulled out a dramatic 9-8 win over Hauppauge in Suffolk (NY) on an overtime goal by Jake Buonaiuto, his fourth of the game.
Now, here’s a look at some of the more interesting games on the schedule for Friday, including a Suffolk showdown between Northport and a Commack team coming off a huge upset win over Sachem North.
