There weren’t many games on the schedule Monday, but there was one rather noteworthy result.
Fox Lane, regarded as the surprising favorite in Section 1 (NY), held on to beat John Jay 10-7. It was the Foxes’ first win over JJ since Indians since 1983 and third since John Jay started varsity lacrosse in 1979.
Quite a way to start the week, indeed.
