Lacrosse Insider: Some thoughts as National Letter of Intent Signing Week starts
National Letter of Intent Fall Signing Week is under way.
It starts today (Wednesday, Nov. 12) and lasts through Wednesday, Nov. 19.
NLIs must be attached to athletic scholarships, so committed players to Division I programs that do not award athletic scholarships (such as the Ivy League and military academies), as well as committed players to Division III programs, do not sign NLIs to make their verbal commitments binding.
But plenty will be doing precisely that. Nearly all of those commitments have been previously reported here, of course.
