Hudson Valley
Warwick Valley’s Nick Daigle had four goals and an assist in an 11-9 win over Minisink Valley in the Section 9 Class A title game at Middletown High School.
Westchester
Bronxville’s Matt Behrens and Will Duncan each scored three goals in a 9-7 win over Pleasantville in the Section 1 Class C title game at White Plains High School. It was the Broncos’ fourth straight sectional title.
CHSAA
Kellenberg’s Kyle Quinn had five goals in the Firebirds’ 13-6 win over Holy Trinity in the CHSAA Nassau-Suffolk Division AA title game.
Long Island
Nassau
Locust Valley’s Joe Madsen (pictured at left) had four goals and an assist, Tyler Liantonio one goal and three assists and Mike Madsen three goals in a 13-11 win over defending Nassau County Class C champion Friends Academy in the Section 8 semifinals.
Suffolk
Rocky Point’s Patrick Dallon made 16 saves in a 10-9 win over Sayville in the Suffolk County Class B semifinals.
New Jersey
Somerville’s Logan LeBlond picked up his 300th career point in a 13-9win over Cranford in the South Group 2 semifinals. LeBlond now has 149 goals and 159 assists for 308 points for his career.
Connecticut
New Canaan’s Harry Stanton scored four goals, including the game-winner with 7.5 seconds left, in a 9-8 win over Staples in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
Tristate Coaches of the Week
Jack Moran, Chaminade (NY). The longtime Flyers’ coach picked up his 500th career win as Chaminade won its second straight CHSAA Nassau-Suffolk AAA championship, beating St. Anthony’s 13-6 in the title game at Hofstra University.
Jeff Brameier, Darien (CT). The Blue Wave remained unbeaten, and Bramaeier notched career win No. 500, in a 12-2 win over Brien McMahon in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
