Chaminade may be unbeaten and have the higher ranking, but St. Anthony’s is in the midst of an impressive five-game win streak that includes wins over New Canaan (CT) and Haverford (PA).
The CHSAA rivals meet for the first time since Chaminade beat St. A’s in the 2013 AAA title game to end the Friars’ run of four straight championships.
Game-time is 1 p.m. at Chaminade’s new Ott Field.
In an NJ vs. CT battle, Ridgewood visits two-time FCIAC champion New Canaan at 4:30 p.m. In a NY vs. CT game, Fox Lane visits Staples.
On Long Island, red-hot Half Hollow Hills West visits West Islip.
Connecticut powers Wilton and Darien meet at 4:15 p.m. at DHS Stadium. Darien 31st-year coach Jeff Brameier’s son, Ryan, is one of Wilton’s top players. Ryan Brameier is a senior attackman who will play at Colorado College.
Bergen Catholic continues its Colorado swing with a game at Arapahoe (CO), which is 10-2.
