Among the headlines, Lakeland/Panas and Sachem North each ended eight-game win streaks for both John Jay and Smithtown East in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island in New York.
New Jersey power Don Bosco Prep stayed unbeaten by pulling out a 10-9 win at Cherry Creek (CO).
Greenwich (6-0) survived a scare in the FCIAC (CT), pulling out a 5-3 win over Staples.

Now, to today.
Two-time New York state champ Garden City will look to bounce back from its loss to Ridgefield (CT) at the Battle of the Sound when it visits South Side (6-4), which has wins over Manhasset and Port Washington on its resume.
New Jersey action is headlined by Pingry playing at Bridewater Raritan. Also of note, Moorestown hosts Watchung Hills and Hunterdon Central is at Ridge.
In prep games of note, CT rivals Westminster and Avon Old Farms meet at Avon, Taft visits Choate, Loomis Chaffee (CT) hosts Deerfield (MA) and Brunswick (CT) plays at Lawrenceville (NJ).
