There’s a marquee NY vs. NJ clash as Bergen Catholic hosts Chaminade. BC is 6-0, Chaminade is 5-0.
That’s not the only big Catholic battle as Fordham Prep and Iona Prep go at it at Iona Prep in their first meeting since FP won the 2013 CHSAA (NY) AA title game.
Both those games are 4:30 p.m. starts.
In Connecticut’s FCIAC, two of the leading contenders, Greenwich and Ridgefield, square off at Ridgefield’s Tiger Hollow Stadium at noon. Ridgefield beat Greenwich early last season, but the Cardinals avenged the loss in the FCIAC semis.
Defending Connecticut Class M state champion Wilton hosts two-time FCIAC champion New Canaan at 7 p.m.
