ESPNU will have live coverage of an ACC doubleheader.
Former BIG EAST opponents – No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 9 Syracuse – meet on Saturday at noon. The IrisToday on TV: Notre Dame-Syracuse, UNC-Hopkins on ESPNU, Fox Sports 1 has Big East battleh are 2-0 in the ACC. The Orange (0-3 ACC) are looking for their first ACC win.
Mike Corey, Ryan Flanagan and Mark Dixon are the announcers.
No. 5 North Carolina plays at non-conference opponent No. 10 Johns Hopkins in the second game of the Saturday doubleheader. The Tar Heels enjoyed a two-win week, while Hopkins has lost its last two contests.
Eamon McAnaney and Paul Carcaterra will call the action.
Fox Sports 1 launches its college lacrosse coverage with a 6 p.m. game between St. John’s and host Providence.
Lacrosse fans will also want to watch a special documentary on lacrosse making its network premiere at 11 a.m. on Saturday on ESPNU, “America’s First Sport.” The hour-long programs features lacrosse executives, players and coaches, stories from Jim Brown’s lacrosse career at Syracuse University and comments from key Native American contributors.
