We are just over a month away from the start of official varsity tryouts and practices for the 2014 varsity season in the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse, the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tristate region.
As we draw closer to the start of the season, we unveiled our inaugural Tristate Top 100 preseason player rankings.
They were truly a first on many levels.
For starters, there were no arbitrarily assigned exact numerical rankings.
Instead, we provided a big picture look at the tristate’s leading varsity standouts as players, fans and coaches prepare for the start of a brand-new season.
You can check out LaxLessons.com’s first-ever Tristate Top 100 preseason player rankings here.
Now, we present an overview of those selections with a special video presentation anchored by Joe Lombardi.
