The 2013 season may have been Tom Rotanz’s last after 19 years as head coach at Long Island power Shoreham-Wading River High School.
Rotanz reportedly was given the option of coaching for one final season by school officials, but declined, according to a report published today by the Riverhead News Review.
Rotanz has led the Wildcats to three New York state titles and last season’s Long Island Class C championship. SWR last won the state title in 2012.
