The Second Annual Edward Taylor Coombs Lacrosse Fall Ball Shootout is set for Oct. 12-13 at Hatboro-Horsham High School in Horsham, Pa.
Coombs, 19, was a rising sophomore defensive midfielder on the 2012 Marist College men’s lacrosse team who died tragically in a single vehicle accident on Aug. 6, 2011.
The Edward Taylor Coombs (ETC) Foundation was established in his honor.
The men’s teams from Marist, NYIT and Merrimack and women’s teams from Marist, Wagner, LaSalle, Drexel, Columbia and Central Connecticut State University will play on Oct. 12. Ursinus, St. Mary’s, McDaniel, Montclair State, Elizabethtown, Eastern Connecticut, Albright and Eastern will play on Oct. 13.
Admission to the games is $5, and free for all under the age of 5. Parking will be free in the lots surrounding the high school.
All proceeds for this event will be donated to the Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation.
