Strong senior classes have been the key to Garden City’s run of back-to-back New York Class B state championships.

So when assessing the Trojans’ prospects for a three-peat, a look at GC’s Class of 2014 is the best place to start.

Garden City has seven college-bound seniors.

Among them, midfielder Cody George.

The 5-foot-8, 155-pound righty, pictured above, has committed to the admissions process at Dartmouth.

“They have a great coaching staff and I wanted a small school with great academics,” George said.

George, who also considered Princeton and Harvard, is a member of the Long Island Outlaws and played at such showcases as the Lehigh Laxfest. He also played for the Sweetlax team last month at Champ Camp. He also played for Long Island at the Under Armour games.
