You can spend the day catching NCAA Tournament first-round men’s lacrosse action and a marquee tristate high-school matchup on TV if you want to stay out of the rain today.
There’s also a big high school showdown on tap. Unbeaten Shoreham-Wading River and host Garden City will battle it out in a matchup of defending New York state champions. You can watch the game live at 2 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14 (Optimum) and MSGVarsity.com.
At halftime, Mike Quick and Joe Lombardi will be taking a look at 12 of the biggest, fastest, strongest and most dominant players in tristate lacrosse.
A replay of the SWR-GC game can be seen 7 p.m. tonight on MSGV Channel 14.

Professional lacrosse fans have to games available to watch today. Rochester plays Washington at 7 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network and Denver visits Boston on MSG+ at 1:30 a.m. (tape delay).
