They have accounted for every CHSAA AAA final dating back to 1987.

After Chaminade’s run of four straight titles ended in 2008, St. Anthony’s has won four consecutive crowns.

YMTCBut Chaminade entered the season as the consensus No. 2 team in the country and was No. 1 in the tristate most of this season.

The Flyers beat St. A’s 10-6 on April 10 and 7-5 on May 9. But St. A’s lost to Chaminade twice during the regular season each of the last two years before turning around and take the title both times.

What will be the outcome when the teams meet for the title Thursday, May 23 at Hofstra University.
