We’re a day away from Selection Sunday for the NCAA Tournament.
It will be top-seeded Villanova against second-seeded Syracuse in the Big East men’s championship game at noon on ESPNU.
At 1 p.m., Syracuse and Georgetown square off for the Big East women’s title on the CBS Sports Network.
The day starts with Albany meeting UMBC for the America East title at 10 a.m. on ESPNU.
There are plenty of big games in high school lacrosse today, including one that will be shown live on television, as a rivalry is renewed at Bethpage High School between Darien and St. Anthony’s in a CT/NY matchup of defending state champions. The game will be shown live at 2 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14 (Optimum) and MSGVarsity.com.
At halftime, Mike Quick and Joe Lombardi will be taking a look at the biggest success stories in tristate lax so far this season. A replay of the game will air tonight at 7 on MSG Varsity (Channel 14), preceding the taped replay of the April 30 Ridgefield-Yorktown game at 9:30 p.m.
Professional lacrosse fans can watch an NLL divisional semifinal doubleheader on the CBS Sports Network, with games at 4 p.m. (Minnesota at Rochester) and 6:30 p.m. (Washington at Calgary) and MLL games between the New York Lizards and host Chesapeake at 7 p.m. and Hamilton at Boston (10:30 p.m., tape delay) on MSG+.
