When Bergen Catholic High School (7-1) battles perennial rival Don Bosco Prep (6-1) on Saturday, April 27 at the fifth annual Konica Minolta Big City Classic, the Crusaders will be taking to the turf at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., in classic white Cascade Pro7’s featuring a unique decal design from HeadWrapz.
Bergen Catholic Pro7’s feature a white shell and visor, a gold chin piece and a gold face mask. HeadWrapz design incorporates Bergen Catholic’s classic Crusader logo on the sides with a mirror-finish gold back panel (only team besides Navy) and the lower part of the back panel is accented in Bergen red with the school’s motto, “Deus Vult” across the back, translation, God wills it.
Finishing off the clean HeadWrapz design is a set of gold metallic crosses outlined in Bergen red.
Action gets under way with a pair of high school games as Seton Hall Prep faces St. Ignatius (Calif.) at 11 a.m., followed by a 1:15 p.m. game between North Jersey rivals Don Bosco and Bergen Catholic.
In the college contests, Princeton faces Cornell at 4 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. game between Notre Dame and Syracuse.
