The spotlight is on Suffolk County today. More specifically, Class A in New York’s Section 11, one of the nation’s most ultra competitive conferences.
First off, a battle of unbeatens between rivals Smithtown West (7-0) and host Ward Melville (6-0) in a rematch of a Section 11 semifinal last year. Ward Melville won that game 13-9 after losing to Smithtown West during the regular season. The 5 p.m. game can be seen on MSGVarsity.com. The premiere telecast on MSG Varsity Channel 14 (Optimum) will air on Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m.
