The temperatures will be rising as the week progresses.

So too will the volume of big games.

In action of note yesterday, Penn State-bound Ryan Keenan of Smithtown West (NY) tied Rob Pannell’s school-record for points in a game (11) in 18-3 win at West Babylon; Smithtown East made a big statement in improving to 2-0 by beating Half Hollow Hills East 17-7; and Sachem North pulled out a 7-6 overtime win over Hauppauge in Hauppauge’s first D-1 game since stepping up in class.

I’ve for Rye scrimmaging PAC today at 2:30 and note you mentioning IP vs PAC at 4:30??

    • LaxLessons.com says:

Both scrimmages are at Mahopac – Rye vs. ‘Pac at 2:30, followed by Iona Prep-‘Pac at 4:30 p.m.

      • Red/Blue says:

Greenwich topped Brunswick. CT public school teams only started practice last Mon. Brunswick had a 3 week head-start including a spring-break trip to Florida. Standard Brunswick team – older, mature kids (kids are held-back upon entering the school) with plenty of depth. Greenwich was impressive – Foote (Loyola) and Moeser (Hofstra) clearly among the top mids in the tri-state. Greenwich goalie (don’t know name) was solid.

  2. slacrosse says:

    Thanks.

    • SPORTS GUY says:

slacrosse, any color on the Rye PAC scrimmage from yesterday?

      • slacrosse says:

Pretty close play all around with not a lot of scoring. Pac had another srimmage with IP following so substituted freely. I know Rye looked better then their previous scrimmage as they had 2 of 3 of their missing starters back. But still work to do. PAC looked good and in particular their attack #33 and LSM 17 stood out to me.

  3. Upstate says:

Webster Thomas 9, Penfield 7 (final)

  4. The Rock says:

North Rockland over Pine Bush 12-3!

Michella has 8 assists for NR. Senatore 4gs

    • Sports Guy says:

thats a nice rebound effort for North Rockland after getting crushed by Byram Hills over the weekend in a scrimmage.

  5. Sec1 says:

    Final – Pearl River 9 Westlake 6
