With the official start of varsity boys lacrosse practice in the tristate getting closer and closer, be sure to vote in our latest poll, which asks, “Who do you think should be the favorite to win the Suffolk County (Section 11, N.Y.) Division 1 title?”
To vote, go to the right panel of this page. Then, scroll past the “New Comments” and “Popular” tabs and click on “Poll.” You will then see the poll questions and can cast your vote from the multiples choices, or, write in your choice if it’s not one of the choices.
The list of candidates is led by defending New York State Class A champion West Islip.
In our previous poll, which just wrapped up, we asked “Who do you think should be the favorite to win the Section 1 (N.Y.) Class A title?”
Lakeland/Panas, with 23 percent of the total vote, inched out a one-vote win over Mahopac, with defending champion Mamaroneck finishing third and Arlington fourth.
Our previous poll question was on the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference title. In heavy voting, Ridgefield was your choice. Darien, Greenwich and New Canaan finished in a three-way tie for second, with Wilton just a vote behind that trio.
We started asking for your thoughts on a tristate conference championship with the Nassau County (Section 8, N.Y.) Conference 1 race. Syosset was your choice.
