Interesting schedules for both Town and Somers.
Thanks for the links to the girls HS and women’s college schedules.
Nice schedule of home games for Yorktown in their first season on the new turf.
Agree.
Wow 4th yr in a row w/o a regular season Rye game. But good to see 3 southern westchester teams (Bville, White Plains and Greeley) playing Town–maybe next season for the Garnets.
No Greeley there. Not much better than Darien, Chaminade and St Anthony’s.
Right,was looking at Somers sched.
I know it’s been written here before but the fact Yorktown and John Jay are both playing Columbine before they play one another March 30 should provide a good idea of how the Town-JJ game will go.
Town, Somers and other top teams that play them better not look past Bronxville. Dont know how deep they are, quality wise, but they have 3 of the top O players in the Section at Attack in the Grass brothers (both Hopkins) and at Middie (Wruble-Brown).
Good job Bville.
Had always been a critic of Bville’s schedule but starting last season and certainly now–no way. Every top northern westchester team on schedule + NJ state champions! That’ how to prepare to take a legit run for the Class C state title.
On other hand according to Laxlessons , my Rye team, aside from their typical southern westchester schedule (which inc TWO games with Class C Pleasantville) plays only Jay ( thanks Coach Schurr), and Iona Prep with just 4 games left to schedule . Better call Bville’s quick . Looks liken they have 1 slot left . Act quick before they close out their schedule with Darien , Ridgefield , etc.
So guess you can tell with 4 slots to go, sorry but gotta say I’m frustrated with the Garnets out of League schedule I see so far.
I also see L/P, Somers, JJ, Iona, and New Canaan. But why home and home with Pleasantville?
slacrosse, I quite agree on Bronxville. The schedule continues to be upgraded each season. It’s the type of progression you really love to see. Beating Mahopac last year was certainly a breakthrough win and the fact it came after a frustrating loss at Lakeland/Panas really shows how you learn and grow as a team by playing tough competition.
Nice to see Bville on the JJ schedule – Welcome to the old Power League.
Say Joe or anybody else in the know. When and where are sectional finals and state quatersfinals are this year?
