It’s been a busy stretch for tristate sophomore commitments.

In fact, since late last month, there have been four of them.

The last was made by Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) attackman Riley O’Sullivan, who verballed late last week to Georgetown, a commitment first reported at Twitter.com/joe_lombardi as were all three of the other sophomore verbals mentioned.

“Riley is an extremely skilled attackman with great stick skills, vision and great outside shooting,” said Nick Daniello, director of the Prime Time travel team.

For a look at O’Sullivan in action, check out his highlight reel.

The 5-foot-8, 145-pound O’Sullivan is the second Prime Time 2015 attackman to commit, joining University of Virginia-bound Tyler Kellogg of the Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) School.

O’Sullivan, a resident of Valley Cottage in Rockland County (N.Y.), enjoyed strong performances this summer and the Jake Reed Blue Chip and Maverik Showtime National Recruiting Spotlight, and made the all-star game at both events.

recruiting_updateNow, here’s a Q&A with Riley on his commitment.

What were the main factors in your decision?
The main factors in my decision were, of course, the academics and great lacrosse. Also, my  sister will be playing lacrosse at the Naval Academy in 2014-2015, so being only a half hour away is great.

What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
A few of the schools that I spoke to were the University of North Carolina, Fairfield, Michigan and  Hopkins.

What are your strengths as a player and how would you describe your style of play?
I feel my strength is change in direction, vision of the field and outside shooting. I like to say I play smart and fast.

What areas of your game have you been working to improve on?
I feel I need to work on my dodging and riding.

Who have been some of the biggest influences on you during your development as a player?
Some of my influences have been my dad, who has coached me since first grade, and my other youth coach, Tony Haggerty, for sure.

What travel team did you play on and what were some of the big showcase events you participated in last summer?
I play for Prime Time 2015 team and have been to Jake Reed’s summer and fall showcases and Maverik Showtime camps.
