The focus of the latest edition of MSG Varsity’s “Sports Talk” show will be the fourth annual Long Island Showcase, played earlier this summer, lacrosse recruiting and a rundown of tristate summer commitments made prior to today and a review of the U-19 World Games.

You can watch the show, co-hosted by Joe Lombardi and Carl Reuter on Friday, Aug. 3 at 9:30 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14 (Optimum).

Attackmen Brian Cannon of Northport and Pat McCormick of Hicksville, two of the standouts in the Long Island Showcase rising junior games, both University of North Carolina recruits, are in-studio guests.

The show will also be available on msgvarsity.com starting on Friday.

You can watch a full telecast of the  Long Island Showcase rising junior game on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 7:30 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14. The telecast of the rising senior game will follow at 9:30 p.m.
