Can the crop or one of the other town faithful give some insight to the SW game. I have seen town play JJ and Darien and there was a big difference in offensive ball movement and goalie play, much improved from the JJ game. What happened at SW I would have thought it would have been closer? SW has a very potent attack but based on the Darien game I’d say town does too?
Smithtown was a real good team,Yorktown did come to play that day.I also thought it was a wake up call,That you have to come too play every day. That said lets go out and play Tuesday like its your last game in high school.Remember last Year Boys./////////////////////////////
I was not in attendance at the SW game but i did watch the game on tv and from what i could see the Yorktown Attack just couldn’t get going. Unfortunately these players are human and can have off days every once in a while and they happened to have one against a very good Smithtown West team. Yorktown’s attack is definitely up there for one of the top in the nation and when they are playing to there potential they are extremely hard to be stopped. Now that Town has gotten a few more wins under its’ belt, I believe they are a serious force to be reckoned with. The sky is the limit for these boys and I know they all have the same thing on their mind. States.
