Garden City and host Shoreham-Wading River met upfor a good cause — the fight against breast cancer. The Trojans, ranked No. 1 in the latest Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse National Power Rankings, pulled away for a 13-4 win in a busy Saturday of games.
Also of note:
* West Islip rallied to beat Ward Melville by outscoring the Patriots 6-0 in the final quarter.
* Ridgefield hung on to beat John Jay for the second straight season, 5-4, despite being held scoreless in the second half.
* Chaminade rolled past Manhasset 13-5.
* Bronxville beat Mahopac 9-7 in a battle of defending Section 1 champions.
