Three tough tests for Chaminade, fresh off its huge win over St. Anthony’s, and a showdown between defending FCIAC champion Darien and defending Class M state champion Wilton highlight what promises to be an interesting week in the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse, the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tristate region.
Chaminade faces Greenwich and Fairfield Prep later in the week after hosting Yorktown on Tuesday.
On Saturday, national powers Garden City and Conestoga meet in an 11 a.m. game at the Haverford School in Pennsylvania.

Long Island viewers can catch the premiere broadcast of the St. Anthony’s-Chaminade game at 4 p.m. Monday on MSG Varsity.
After the premieres, the games can be seen on On-Demand Channel 614 and msgvarsity.com.

Wilton has certainly overachieved out of the gate. But New Canaan appears to have been overhyped and Greenwich is rebuilding. Still, I think they can make it a game for a half, maybe even three quarters.
