The National Letter of Intent Fall Early Signing Week is now history.
We had commitments coming in through late last night — almost till the clock struck midnight.
In a moment, we will provide a rundown of D-I and D-II senior recruits from the region, most of whomsigned Letters of Intent the last eight days. (Remember, not all D-I conferences that are included here are part of the NLI program, and the military academies and the Ivy League are not part of the NLI process. )
But first, we have some news about player movement in the college level. Three former Sachem North standouts — Michael Andreassi and Brandon Gamblin (both at UMass) and Jake Cabble (Robert Morris) — have decided to transfer out of those schools and play at college programs on Long Island, Chris Vaccaro reports.
Andreassi’s decision to transfer to Stony Brook could impact the verbal commitment his younger brother, junior defenseman Tyler Andreassi, gave to UMass. For more info on that, and the transfers, check out Chris’ story in the Sachem Patch by clicking here.
