As August gives way to September, fall is in the air.
Well, almost anyway.
There’s a full slate of college football games this weekend, and that can only mean one thing.
Fall ball in lax is set to start, too.
We’ll have more on that, of course, in the days and weeks to come.
But here’s one item of interest for now.
We talked quite a bit about the birth of lax at Marquette.
Well, the Golden Eagles are gearing up for the start of fall ball by holding open tryouts for current students who think they have the right stuff to join the team in time for its Division I debut this coming spring.
