It was a night featuring the best players that high school lax has to offer, and the down-to-the-wire finish was a testament to the high level of talents of all 42 players incoming college freshmen competing.
Shenendehowa star Bobby Wardwell, playing for the South team, made nine fourth-quarter saves to highlight an 11-9 victory over the North in the sixth annual Under Armour All-America Classic at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.
The Syracuse University-bound Wardwell, who entered the game at halftime, finished with 12 saves.

The North team had won four of the first five Under Armour All-America games.
More than 100 college coaches were on hand for the Underclass Tournament games earlier in the day. Action in that event wraps up today with the championship game at 3:15 p.m.

He played very well against Pac…
He was very good, but if Pac didn’t wait til the second half to attack, they would have won. Their slow start and lack of early adjustments proved deadly. They play them again and they win. This is why you need to schedule teams like them during the season.
