He’s lacrosse’s premier star these days, and, unlike many who have previously held that distinction, Paul Rabil has endorsements galore.
A section centerpiece feature in The New York Times “Thursday Styles” section on Rabil begins with this attention-grabbing headline: “Can This Man Make Lacrosse Sexy?”
The Times article, written by James Vlahos, then refers to the former Johns Hopkins star as the “LeBron James of lacrosse” in the very first sentence.
“With his rugged good looks and growing endorsement deals, Paul Rabil may become his sport’s first breakout star,” reads the sub-headline.
