Commitments continue to come in

We hope you are checking out the “Updated recruiting review and commitment rundown” thread each day, gang, because new names are popping up at a feverish pace.

Today, we learned of two more major commitments.

Chris Kieser reports that Smithtown West’s James Pannell, one of the nation’s top-ranked juniors, has given a verbal commitment to accept a scholarship offer from Virginia. Pannell is an attackman.

Sachem North coach Jay Mauro informed me today that senior defenseman Alex Harris has given a verbal to Stony Brook after narrowing his choices to the Brook and Army.
