Good day of Lax. Should tell how some of these teams will be off the bat. Heard Duxbury was the eighth team but dropped out at the last minute. That would have been Great to see them play St Anthony’s ,Auburn and Somers.
Somers tournament and they dont play St. A’s?
Fear the Fox!
somers plays them during the season
I guess St. A’s just wants to get on a turf field ASAP bc none of these teams are gonna give them a run…
Would have really been a great field if Brunswick had played. They were booked but had a conflict.

I will be there on Saturday checking out the action. Looking forward to it.
Supposed to be sunny and in the 60s. I’m down to watch.
St Anthonys is supposed to be playing on the Island in a 4 way with West Islip, Massapequa and John Jay on Saturday, somebody has their schedules crossed up……………………………..
Looks like St Anthony’s bailed out of the Red-Gray on Monday, stating scheduling ,travel conflict. Don’t know if some other team is taking there place. For whatever reason ,they should have had the courtesy to give more notice.

A while back thought someone said Bwick did not have PG’s?
Correct, Brunswick does not enroll post-graduate students. Most, if not all, PGs attend boarding schools, which Brunswick is not.
Duly noted is the first this-scrimmge-would-be-great-only-if-my-school-was-in-it-but-they-already-scheduled-a-better-one post of the 2010 season. I’m thinking of making some suggestions for Joe to implement for the coming year in terms of categorizing posts such as this so chat threads are less diverted into irrelevant subjects and more focused upon the topic heading, such as who is actually attending this scrimmage.

Brunswick does not have PG’s……
any word if Somers found a replacement team???
